Pete Root has been
doing Partnering Facilitation and consulting nationwide since
1991. He is a Registered Professional Engineer, earned a BS
in Engineering degree from the US Military Academy and a MSE (Civil
Engineering - Construction Management)
from the University of Michigan. He enjoyed more than twenty-one
years
of construction project management as a US Army Corps of Engineers
Officer,
culminating his career as the Project Manager for the design and
construction
of
the $250 Million J-6 Large Rocket
Motor
Test Facility
at Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee. It was Pete and his J-6 Team
who pioneered the Partnering concept within the Corps. Pete and
his J-6 Partners Co-Authored the article Partnering Brings Success which
describes Partnering on that project. The concepts developed
during the J-6 Project have been refined and evolved into the Success!
Partnering System utilized by CTC. The benefits of this
system

Federal,
State, and Municipal agencies, as well as many large construction and
